A brief introduction about ourselves

We are a husband-and-wife team – decided to begin a new chapter: a small, family-run restaurant where every dish is crafted with love, care, and pride. Special thanks to the previous owners, we are very grateful for the chance to pursuit this dream of ours, we hope to do justice to Bamboo Bistro’s great food and reputation since 2016.

About ourselves, we were born and raised in Huế, Vietnam’s old imperial capital, a city rich with food culture from street food to royalty cuisine. The flavors are packed with creativity and spice in the midst of a quiet old town. To us, Huế is more than just home – it is a place where food and soul intertwine, where flavors carry stories of history, culture, and family.

And it’s been almost two decades since we migrated to Maine, we immediately fell in love with the beautiful nature, old towns and most of all, the kind-hearted and hardworking people of Maine. We’re proud and honored to call this place our second home.

The menu we crafted is the love letter to both of our beloved homes. Through each dish, we hope to take you on a journey of flavors that are delicate yet bold, refined yet comforting from our first home to the second. Our dream is simple yet heartfelt: to bring the warmth, authenticity, and poetry of Huế to Maine, one meal at a time.
